CyberRes released the most recent data protection and finding technology, Voltage File Analysis Suite (FAS). It circumvents limitations while maintaining a growing number of privacy regulations globally.
With the help of its cutting-edge SmartScan technology, FAS offers proactive data security. FAS, which was just introduced as a new version, included the most contemporary data detection and protection technologies.
The Director of Product Management for Voltage Data Privacy and Protection at CyberRes, Reiner Kappenberger, exemplified the all-in-one solution feature of FAS. “The new CyberRes Voltage File Analysis Suite takes data security to the next level with its data discovery and protection capabilities within one solution,” said Kappenberger.
According to CyberRes, among the new features, SmartScan enables intelligent sampling and dynamic tagging for petabyte-scale data discovery, helping analysts locate areas of higher data risk more quickly.
FAS is classified as a Software as a Service (SaaS), elevating the customer experience while satisfying their needs. Released with this capability, FAS got included in the Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) offering.
“Since it is delivered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution, it possesses the scalability needed to meet the needs of any user’s data estate,” said Reiner Kappenberger, Director Product Management for Voltage Data Privacy and Protection at CyberRes. He continued by saying that the dynamic Voltage SmartScan tool gives users the tools they need to perform more in-depth, prescriptive inspections of their data infrastructure and implement more targeted preventive measures.
FAS goes beyond as it can support 1,000 file types and discovery across unstructured data repositories both on-premises and in the cloud. Additionally, it has optical character recognition (OCR) technology for extracting sensitive information from photos.
Despite this, it still complies with and abides by the universal requirements of data privacy laws. Data masking is included, which enhances worldwide privacy awareness and contextually aware entity detection for more than 39 countries and economic regions.
With this latest data protection and discovery, FAS is receiving significant marks from its end users. According to Olcay Nisanoglu, IT Operations Director of BELBIM, FAS made them pivotal as the Turkish Data Protection Regulation and PCI/DSS were supported by FAS. He further noted that it helped them comprehend additional sensitive and essential data that needed to be secured.
As technology pushes boundaries and expands beyond all comprehension, it is crucial to remember not to break walls that make the community safe from the growing number of cyber threats.
